Tom is a qualified web systems expert and developer with over 10 years of experience in creating applications, services and experiences for the web. He has been involved in the design and development of systems including e-commerce solutions for online retailers, promotional material for international manufacturing companies, online brochures for a range of industries and user experience design for enterprise applications including a securities processing system.

As part of Tom's degree in Internet Engineering, he was granted a commendation for his comprehensive research in to the use of mobile technology in education. Tom also has a professional involvement in enterprise network systems with a Cisco CCNA qualification and experience in configuring and deploying numerous server-side applications.

Tom's expertise in web technologies spans the web software stack; from web server (Apache, nginx, IIS), through server-side development (Python/Django, PHP, Java, node.js, multiple CMS'), to client-side languages (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3).

Tom's roles include responsibility for the management and configuration of MDR's server infrastructure and internal tools, involvement in design, development and management of MDR project websites, and technical support for the team.
